A Long Goodbye

War changes Paris and interrupts the familiar routines of a woman’s family life. Waiting and separation permeate the home, the streets and everyday conversation, while departures and returns reshape her sense of the future. Moving through wartime and its aftermath, the film brings private memory into contact with historical upheaval.
