Lachesis Laval

Lachesis Laval is a film director and AI artist based in China. Her films draw on classical imagery to explore women's lives, with a focus on family, love and the passage of time. Opera and European period interiors influence her visual style, while memory and loss recur throughout her work. Her process spans writing, image generation, moving images, music, sound and editing, with close attention to character, composition and rhythm at every stage. Her films include Beyond the Walls, At the Peak of Despair, When the Twilight Is Ending and A Long Goodbye. Her work has received the Best Series Award at ARKLINK AI Film Festival, The Golden Cloud Award at OMNI: AI Film Festival and the Grand Jury Award at Oniros Film Awards. She is currently making The Minutes, a feature film following the lives of three women across three eras.
